On Tuesday evening, the Owls Ludwigshafen invited guests to the second partner event in 2026 at the Heinrich Pesch Hotel. It was a very special get-together, as it marked the start of the “30 years of the Bundesliga” anniversary week.
The owls had called and many alumni had come to look back on an eventful time together with partners and employees, but also to take a look into the future. It was an evening full of nostalgia, but also memories, stories, anecdotes and lots of emotion. As usual, owl hall announcer “The Voice”, Thomas Stüber, hosted the event with wit and charm.
The Eulen Ludwigshafen, then still known as TSG Friesenheim, were promoted to the 2nd Handball Bundesliga on April 30, 1995 in order to stay as long as possible. It has now been 30 years, six of them in the 1st Bundesliga. The new Owls managing director Andreas Olbert, who has been in office for a week, was delighted that many partners, employees and protagonists of the last 30 years had accepted the invitation and welcomed around 150 guests in the large hall of the Heinrich Pesch Hotel. It was his first official Owl event as Managing Director and he began by looking back on his first “Owl Week”. But then he looked directly to the future, in which he not only wants to put the Owls on a solid economic footing as a Bundesliga club, but also develop them further with existing partners and, of course, attract new partners.
The HPH team is grateful that this special partner event took place at our premises and we look forward to many more events with the Eulen Ludwigshafen!
